Wellness - The condition of good physical and mental health, especially when maintained by proper diet, exercise, and habits.

Dr. Viera received his BS degree from Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama an MS degree from Seton Hall University in South Orange, NJ and his Ph.D. degree from the University of Medicine & Dentistry of New Jersey in Newark from the Department of Anatomy, Cell Biology and Injury Sciences.
He served as Director of Cell Biology Lab for Alfacell Corporation in Bloomfield, NJ from Jan 1988 until July 2005. In addition he served as faculty and as Chair for the Science Department at Passaic County Community College in Paterson , NJ from Jan 1993 until July 2005.
Dr. Viera has been with the Miami Dade College family since 2005.
