Security and Parking are critical issues at any campus. Parking gate-cards are only available for full-time employees and
may be obtained at the Administrative Services Department in room 8215. New full-time employees must bring the memo provided at the on-boarding session.
Please be advised that employees caught sharing their parking gate-card with family members may be subject to disciplinary action, including termination of parking gate-card privileges.
Exceptions for adjunct faculty require a written request, via e-mail (including the full name and MDID# of the adjunct faculty), from the Department
Chair/Head to the Senior Director of Campus Administration, but this does not guarantee approval.
Damaged or broken gate-cards may be replaced, at no cost, at the Administrative Services Department in Room 8215. Lost gate-cards may be replaced with a $20.00 replacement fee.
According to Policy VI-30 and Procedure 6300, the College is not allowed to engage in agreement for services with current/active
full-time or part-time employees of the College.
Under no circumstances may a College employee execute or approve a contract or agreement with a member of his/her family. Failure to comply with this guideline may result in immediate termination of employment.

The Plant Maintenance Work Request should be used to report problems such as air conditioning, lights/light fixtures, requests for keys, painting, hanging pictures, doors/locks repair, or ceiling tile repairs.

Work requests should be submitted to Campus Services for special events or for specific requests that require custodial (floor care, cleaning), moving and set-up (moving of furniture, boxes, tables and chairs), maintenance (air conditioning, lights, broken fixtures), and/or Public Safety services (open/close rooms, vans). All requests must have an authorized signature by a department head, and are processed based on the deadline date submitted in the request; it is to your advantage to submit them in advance to avoid scheduling conflicts.
