Wellness and Fitness Center
Wellness Center

The Kendall Campus provides a wellness program in The Wellness Center. The center provides a workout area for faculty, staff, students who are enrolled in HLP courses, and athletes of Miami-Dade. Health and Fitness Assessments are done by appointment. Personal training programs may be developed with trained personnel.


As of September 1, 2011, fees apply to the Wellness, Fitness, and Aquatic centers. Please call for more information. The Wellness Center is located in Room G-110. For more information, contact the Director, Ms. Cookie Rosell, Telephone: (305) 237-2838.

Note: In addition to fitness equipment (see below), The Wellness Center has a BroadcastVision system which allows members to view and listen to one of several different television stations while working out. Showers and lockers are available.
