Installations

Kendall CNS department is responsible for installing hardware and licensed software on the campus.  This includes computers, printers, memory, and standard software applications.

The following software is currently offered for staff and faculty:
Micrsoft Windows XP

  • Macintosh 10.4.9 (Tiger) – 10.5 (Leopard)
  • Microsoft Office 2003
  • Microsoft Office 2007
  • Microsoft Publisher 2003
  • McAfee VirusScan Ver. 8

Non- standard Software

Employees are allowed to install non-standard licensed software on the college computer.  If you do, please remember that you must depend on the manufacturer’s technical support for help with any problems you may encounter.

If you call tech support for assistance, we will do our best to solve your problem.  However, if we cannot solve your problem, don’t be disappointed.  If the computer crashes CNS, will re-install the college standard image.
