Upgrade/Replacements

Each department is responsible for funding the replacements or upgrade of the hardware in its area unless there are college or campus initiatives to do so.  For example, the PC Refresh 2008 will be funded by the college.

Miami Dade College has identified the replacements/upgrade of computers as one of the priorities for the college.  The plan is to replace 20% of the low-end computers every year, if funding is available.
