The Reading Lab is designed to assist students enrolled in College Prep reading courses. College Pre reading instructors use the lab to support classroom instruction. At the Reading Lab, students having access to instructional materials that focus on developing reading skills, reference books, handouts, and tutoring.

Who must use the Reading Lab?
Any student registered in a College Prep reading class: REA 0001, REA 0002, and REA 0003.
How does the Reading Lab help?
The Reading Lab allows students to complete their lab assignments using a variety of educational materials available exclusively for use in the lab along with some handouts to complete outside, most of which are available online. The Reading Lab provides students with the opportunity to improve their reading skills. Instruction and assignments are tailored to address each student's particular course and needs. Students registered in College Prep reading courses must complete lab assignments as part of their course requirements.
What does the lab staff do?
The Reading Lab instructors indicate that lab assignments are completed by initialing and stamping the lab syllabus and lab work. Instructors are also available to assist students who have questions about their lab assignments.
When do students attend?
Students may attend any time the lab is open; however, students may not use the lab during their class hours.
What are the Reading Lab "no-no's"?
