Finding the Right Section
This site is divided into two main sections: videos and photos. If you are looking for videos, simply click the videos icon from the navigation bar:
If you would like to find photos, select the photos icon from the navigation bar:
Once you click on these areas, a listing of current media will be displayed.
Video: Introducing the Video List
When you select video section you will encounter a list of videos in alphabetical order based on their title:
You may browse this list by dragging the scroll bar (outlined in red) up or down or by pressing the scroll bar buttons (outlined in red) in the direction you wish to go.
Each video will have information for the following areas:
- Title - title of video
- Subject - subject of video
- Author (if provided)
- Time - length of video
- CC - if the title has this label then it is closed-captioned
Video: Using the Sorting Feature to Search Videos
This site offers the ability to browse videos by their 'title', 'subject' or 'author'. This is useful if you know a particular subject you are interested in, such as Psychology, or if there is a particular professor's class you are looking for.
You may choose from one of the three sorting criteria by pressing the drop-down button next to 'Sort By:' area:
Once this arrow is clicked, a drop-down menu will appear (see image below). You may now click on the criteria you would like for the videos to be sorted by. Remember: all sorting is in alphabetical order. For example, if you choose 'Subject' then the videos will be sorted in alphabetical order by 'Subject' and not their title.
Video: Starting the Video
After you have found your video, simply click on the video and the movie will begin playing:
Windows Media Player
All of the videos contained on this site require Windows Media Player to view them. In order to view the video in 'full screen mode' you may either:
- Press 'ALT' + 'ENTER' (this toggles the 'full screen mode' off and on) in Windows Media Player
- Select 'View' (from the top menu bar) and then select 'Full Screen'
