The ESL lab, located in room 6237, is a multimedia resource center for the teaching of English as a second language. Audiotapes and interactive computer-based programs are available, as well as individual tutorial sessions. The lab provides resources for individual learning in Reading, Writing, Speech and Grammar. In the ESL lab, you can work one-on-one with a tutor, or you can work on your own with the many hand-outs and audiovisual materials in our reference and resource library. The tutor and staff will help you with all aspects of the language learning process. Our lab has state-of-the-art computers for word processing, internet research, and multimedia software . The ESL lab is equipped with 56 computers, all of which are connected to the Internet, have CD ROM drives, and have the latest software that can assist in the learning process and a knowledgeable and helpful staff ready to assist you in your exciting voyage through the English language. Our ESL students currently enrolled in an EAP/ENS course are welcome to use the lab. Simply bring your current schedule and make sure you also bring a 3.5-inch floppy diskette if you plan on using the computers for word processing or for saving text information from the Internet.
