About Us

Miami-Dade Community College is a two-year, state-supported community college with six campuses and numerous outreach centers.

Students may choose from a variety of majors transferable to four-year private or public universities. The Social Science Department of the Kendall Campus offers Associate in Arts degrees (A.A.) in the following disciplines: 

  • Anthropology

  • History

  • International Relations

  • Political Science

  • Pre-law

  • Psychology

  • Public Administration

  • Sociology

  • Social Work

 

 

Location and Hours

Building 6, Kendall CampusThe Social Science Department of the Kendall Campus is located in Building 6000 of the Kendall Campus of Miami-Dade Community College.

Office Hours:
Monday - Thursday : 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Advisement Hours:
Monday -Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m. 
Friday:  7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

You may call us, visit us, or make appointments for faculty advisement.  Appointments are not necessary - walk-ins are welcome.
