Assessments
Career assessment can provide you with a more realistic appraisal of yourself. They will help you clarify your values, things that are important to you; define your interests, things that you enjoy; and identify your skills, things you do well. Assessments are useful in narrowing down or generating career options and serve as a starting point for career exploration.
Choices Planner
Advisement & Career Services utilizes Choices Planner, an online career guidance and exploration tool that will assist you in accomplishing your occupational and educational goals. The program includes career assessments and extensive occupational and educational databases. We encourage students to complete the assessments found in the “Connect Yourself to Career” in the work section of Choices Planner. Your assessment results will generate a list of occupations reflecting your values, interests and skills. For assistance interpreting the results of your assessments, or for career guidance, please contact Advisement & Career Services.
