Costa Rican Vice President Laura Chinchilla Miranda addressed Miami Dade College students, faculty and staff at a special presentation at the Wolfson Campus. Chinchilla Miranda made her presentation in Spanish to faculty, staff and students in the Honors College Dual Language program. She discussed the importance of reinforcing relationships between Costa Rica and Miami, with a focus on education, culture and trade. The invitation-only event was made possible with the collaboration of Lorena Sánchez-Urpi, the Honorable Consul General of Costa Rica.
