Seeking a national museum
Miami Dade College held a forum recently at the Wolfson Campus to invite public input for the potential creation of the National Museum of the American Latino (NMAL) in Washington, D.C. A reception followed at the College's historic Freedom Tower. Earlier in the year, the NMAL Commission held a productive meeting over several days at MDC attended by national members including Eva Longoria-Parker and Commission Chair Henry R. Muñóz III.
