Freedom Tower weather vane flying once again

The Freedom Tower’s weather vane is back on top! The 255-foot vane was removed for maintenance after a series of hurricanes damaged a support shaft. After reconstructive work was completed, the weather vane’s post, decorative ship and directional signal were put back on the building’s cupola, bringing new elegance to the site’s historic look.
