Exploring the complexities of nationalism, MDC’s historic Freedom Tower recently featured ¡Patria o libertad! (Country or Freedom!), an intriguing collection of videos and sound pieces by contemporary artists. The four-part exhibition by the College’s Art Gallery Systems focused on the meaning of patriotism and the choices we face when grappling with the concepts of patria/country and libertad/freedom.
