Albright, Herbie and All That Jazz
Former U.S. Secretary of State Madeleine Albright jazzed up life at Miami Dade College this spring with a series of events that included enjoying the smooth sounds of jazz with the legendary Herbie Hancock, who jammed with jazz students from the New World School of the Arts at MDC during the opening of Albright’s Read My Pins jewelry exhibition at MDC’s historic Freedom Tower. Albright also spoke at MDC’s acclaimed Miami Leadership Roundtable and met with MDC students at The Honors College to discuss diplomacy, politics and world affairs.
