Jazz Stars Light Up MDC Skies

Triple-platinum singer Jon Secada performed at Kendall Campus' 2011 Jazz Under the Stars.

Audiences were delighted with a magical evening of musical performances at Jazz Under the Stars at Kendall Campus, where Grammy-winning singer-songwriter Jon Secada performed some of his greatest hits. He was joined on stage by legendary saxophonist Ed Calle, award-winning pianist and composer Silvano Monasterios & the 4th World Ensemble, and the father of “scat hop,” Jessie Jones Jr. The College’s Jazz Band and Salsa Ensemble also took the stage, creating an exciting night of entertainment for the local community.
