Students Spell Success in Chinese
Three students taking courses at Miami Dade College’s Confucius Institute recently earned high honors at the Confucius Institute Cup, an international composition competition for Chinese language learners organized by the Hanban/Confucius Institute Headquarters in Beijing, China.
The Cup is one of the world’s most prestigious writing competitions for non-native students of Chinese. The MDC contingent – Madison Ann Conroy, Elizabeth Díaz Steward and Laiyen Suárez – competed against peers from more than 400 institutions and programs around the world.
