The Confucius Institute at Miami Dade College kicked off the Chinese New Year with a well-attended performance of the Forbidden City Chamber Orchestra, comprising musicians from China Conservatory, the country’s foremost music school located in Beijing.

The talented group of musicians gave a memorable performance to an audience of students and community members, who enjoyed the opportunity to experience one of the top musical acts from across the globe.
One of MDC’s many cultural offerings that are free and open to the public, this event was sponsored by the Chinese

Ministry of Culture and the Confucius Institute Headquarters/Hanban.
