Miami Dade College Professor Sarah Garman was recently honored for her instructional excellence with the 2015 Award for Outstanding eLearning Faculty presented by the Instructional Technology Council (ITC), an affiliated council of the American Association of Community Colleges.

The ITC award recognizes faculty members who have implemented outstanding and innovative teaching and class management strategies with demonstrated course success and excellent student retention.

“Miami Dade College is honored to have Professor Garman recognized for her hard work, creativity and commitment to education,” said MDC President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón. “She truly embodies our mission to change lives through the opportunity of education.”
