Miami Dade College has long been at the forefront of creating workforce solutions through its cutting-edge academic programs. In recognition of this outstanding leadership, the Business-Higher Education Forum (BHEF) has elected MDC President Dr. Eduardo J. Padrón as its new chair.

The Business-Higher Education Forum is the nation’s oldest membership organization of Fortune 500 CEOs and research university presidents dedicated to advancing innovative education and workforce solutions and improving U.S. competitiveness.

BHEF brings together business and academic members who collaborate in regions across the country to design and deploy education-workforce solutions in the emerging, high-demand fields that are so critical to innovation and national security.
