Ready to Crown a Winner

As the Startup Challenge moves closer to its conclusion, 10 teams of students were selected to advance to the final round of the business plan competition. The semifinals were held last month in tandem with the EO Global Student Entrepreneur Awards, which brought 25 of the most successful student entrepreneurs from around the country to The Idea Center for a two-day competition.

During the semifinal round, 18 teams presented concept validations on their projects and addressed issues including value proposition, customer segmentation, customer relationships, channels and revenue stream. The winning Startup Challenge team selected next month will receive $5,000 in seed money to help launch their startup.
