World Bank Shines Light on Women

Americas Society/Council of the Americas forum at MDC
World Bank and International Finance Corporation representatives presented their report findings at a recent meeting at MDC.

Leading women in international banking and government recently discussed the progression of entrepreneurship and job opportunities for women at MDC’s Wolfson Campus as part of the Americas Society/Council of the Americas forum.

World Bank and International Finance Corporation representatives presented findings relating to Miami and Latin America from the organizations’ recent joint report Women, Business and the Law (WBL) 2016: Getting to Equal, which covers 173 economies.

Guevara, president, Aventi Associates; Andrea Padilla, corporate resources director, CELISTICS Group; Nayda L.
