MDC Leads at PBL Nationals

After dominating state competitions earlier this year, MDC students shined at the national Phi Beta Lambda (PBL) competition held in June in Atlanta.

Phi Beta Lambda is the premier collegiate business organization in the country. The U.S. competition draws students from the nation’s top colleges and universities together to test their skills in business-related disciplines, including macroeconomics, financial analysis, integrated marketing, forensic accounting, small business management and cyber security.

More than 30 MDC students brought home individual and team awards. Those taking the top first place honors were Sindhuri Thondapu from Wolfson Campus, who won in the accounting principles category, and the team from InterAmerican Campus that included  Abraham Cid, Ines Carvajal and Reynier Montalván, who won in the realm of strategic analysis and decision making.
