September 11th was a day to recognize the heroes of New York, including the hip-hop icon and the God MC, Jay-Z. The release of Jay-Z’s eleventh album, Blueprint 3, ended the wait for hip-hop fans across the nation.

Legendary Cuban Artist Honored

Miami Dade College is paying tribute to legendary Cuban artist, Cundo Bermúdez, with an exhibition of his work at the historic Freedom Tower. The exhibit titled Under a Brilliant Sun: Cundo Bermúdez into the 21st Century, opened Thursday, September 3 and runs through Saturday, November 7.

College students are offered diverse entertainment at cheap prices in the melting pot known as Miami. Normally, a movie ticket can cost on average $10. Miami has a high cost of living and filled with students with shrinking wallets.

Well, drop your general zombie-flick knowledge at the door horror fans, because Zombieland is surely a thrill you will not anticipate.
