Book Fair at MDC

The 26th annual Miami Book Fair International will take place at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus (300 N.E. 2nd Ave) from Nov. 8-15.
The eight-day book fair is presented by the Florida Center for the Literary Arts.
The fair includes readings from more than 350 authors from around the world, book signings, and an “Evenings With” series, where Miami residents can sit face-to-face with prominent literary figures of today.
Some confirmed authors include Al Gore, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and Ralph Nader. There will also be Spanish-language authors such as Juanita Castro and Raul Rivero.
Admission for the street fair on Saturday and Sunday will be $8 per person, $5 for those 62 and older, and free for those 18 and under. The admission fee for the “Evenings With” series will be $10 per person. Admission is free to all MDC students (with ID). Parking will be available in building seven all eight days.
