The Office of Accreditation coordinates the College's activities related to regional and specialized program accreditation to facilitate continuous improvement and ensure compliance.

Core Functions

  • Facilitates regional and specialized program accreditation activities in partnership with relevant units across the College
  • Coordinates planning, implementation, and monitoring of the College's Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP)
  • Maintains documentation related to accreditation requirements


Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
