About Our Libraries

Each campus of Miami Dade College has its own library designed to meet the individual teaching and learning needs of its students, staff and faculty.  Collectively, the eight campus libraries have over 360,000 books, 24,000 E-books, 32,000 Audiovisual materials (DVD, CD, etc.), and 3,500 magazines and journals.  Miami Dade College Libraries are also part of a statewide consortium called College Center for Library Automation (CCLA), which offers students and staff access to over 160 subscription databases with thousands of full-text articles.  All electronic resources are available anytime, anywhere Internet is available. 

Mission Statement:

The collective mission of the Libraries of Miami Dade College is to provide access to collections, resources, services and facilities in support of the College’s academic programs. The libraries emphasize their instructional role in assisting faculty, staff, and students to use collections, research tools, and services effectively.




Miami Dade College is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges to award associate and baccalaureate degrees.
