Discipline Collection

In addition to providing the information and instruction faculty, staff, and students need on their campus, librarians will take on a new approach by developing the resources needed for a particular discipline college-wide. Whether it is the creation of a LibGuide; the purchase of a book; the subscription to a database; or the addition of an eBook, librarians with specialized expertise will work college-wide to make sure the discipline’s needs are met with the most up-to-date information, formats, and instruction. Contact the liaisons below to learn more about this new partnership approach to collection development at MDC.
