In order to participate, you need to register as a vendor with College and get on the bidders list.
What is the advantage of being on the bidders list? back to top
This is how MDC can identify you as a vendor that is interested in doing work with the college. If we don’t have your information, you cannot receive bid solicitations. However, you can go to the web site and review the solicitations at anytime.
What type of work is available? back to top
Opportunities to participate as a vendor are available in construction, construction related work, and the procurement of commodities and services as well as professional services as varied: such as engineering, medical, information technology, etc. Minority participation is encouraged in all projects.
Do I need to be on the bidders list to receive bids? back to top
Yes, In order for MDC to send any information, your information has to be on file.
Once I’m on the bidders list, will I receive solicitations? back to top
No, it is not a guarantee that you will receive bids because you are on the bidders list. It is always good to check for postings of solicitations. It also is helpful, if a buyer is looking for vendors to provide quotes on bids from $5,000 to $25,000.

Yes, the college approved the new Small Local Business Enterprise Policy on July 21, 2009. For more information about the program, please contact the MSBE Office.
