Miami, December 11, 2008 - After a year of exciting new programs, greening initiatives, grants to further learning opportunities in nursing and science, milestone cultural events, and partnerships with international institutions, there is no doubt Miami Dade College (MDC) is on the global map. Registration for the spring semester is under way. Deadline to register without a late fee is Monday, Jan. 5. All others will have until Jan 12 and will be subject to a $50 late fee.
Campus locations are as follows:
Hialeah Campus, 1776 W. 49 Street
Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace
InterAmerican Campus, 627 S.W. 27 Avenue
Kendall Campus, 11011 S.W. 104 Street
Medical Center Campus, 950 N.W. 20 Street
North Campus, 11380 N.W. 27 Avenue
West Campus, 3800 N.W. 115 Avenue
Wolfson Campus, 300 N.E. Second Avenue
Registration hours at the campuses are Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Open Saturdays on Dec. 13, 20 and Jan. 10, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Check campus websites for schedule updates.
Please note that Miami Dade College will be in recess commencing Monday, December 22, 2008. However, MDC's Student Services Offices at all campuses will be open on Monday, December 29, 2008 and Tuesday, December 30, 2008, from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. for admissions, registration, financial aid, testing, and advisement. The MDC Call Center will also be available during these dates and times at (305) 237-8888, and web registration will be available continuously at www.mdc.edu even when the College is in recess. All MDC Departments will re-open on Monday, January 5th, 2009.
To enroll in classes for credit, prospective students must meet MDC admissions requirements, pass the College Placement Test (CPT), and interview with a program adviser. Classes are affordable, flexible and accessible and it’s easy to register by calling 305-237-8888 or visiting one of our campuses.
Students may also register and pay for classes, check for course availability, print schedules, and more by going online, 24 hours a day, seven days a week at www.mdc.edu. Classes begin Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2009.
