MDC, U.S. Senator George LeMieux and the South Florida Workforce Board Partner to Host Employability Fair 2010 March 23

Fair to be held at college’s Kendall Campus with important employers and employability services

Miami, March 16, 2010 - The Office of United States Senator George S. LeMieux and Miami Dade College (MDC) President Dr. Eduardo J. Padron, together with the South Florida Workforce Board, invite the public to participate in the Employability Fair 2010 on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at MDC’s Kendall Campus. 

The Fair is open to the public. 

More than 50 employers from the public and private sectors are scheduled to participate in this event, including Burger King Corporation, Miami V.A. Healthcare Systems, Winn-Dixie, Terremark Worldwide, the U.S. Secret Service, CVS Pharmacy, SunTrust Bank, U.S. Coast Guard, and others.

The Fair also aims to strengthen participants’ employability with the provision of other services onsite. 

Recent MDC job fairs have been very popular and well attended.
