Learn about Bachelor’s Degrees, the New Accelerated Associate Degrees, Culinary Arts Management and other Exciting Programs at Miami Dade College during Lunchtime Orientation at Wolfson Campus August 13

Miami, July 27, 2010 - More than ever, a quality, affordable education for in-demand jobs is a must to make it in this economy, and Miami Dade College (MDC) has the recipe for success. Learn about the hot culinary arts management program, new and existing bachelor’s degrees, accelerated associate degrees, paralegal studies and other dynamic programs during an upcoming lunchtime orientation at MDC’s Wolfson Campus Friday, August 13, 2010.
The orientation will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. At 11 a.m., there will be a session for new students and parents. Refreshments will be served at noon. At 12:30 p.m., new academic programs will be discussed. And, at 2 p.m., college officials will discuss various student services available for all students. Topics to be covered include:

- Culinary Arts Management
- Electronics Engineering Technology
- Paralegal Studies
- Biotechnology
- STEM Scholarships
- Addiction Studies
- Foreign Languages
- Virtual College
- Baccalaureate Programs
- Special workshops and courses offered through the Center for Community Involvement, Florida Center for Literary Arts and the Earth Ethics Institute
