MDC Homestead Campus to Host Free Empowerment Seminar Sept. 9

Michelle Rosado, co-author of “Pursuing Your Destiny” and a 9/11 World Trade Center survivor will speak at MDC Homestead Campus Sept. 9, 2010.

Miami, August 18, 2010 - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Homestead Campus will host a “Woman of Empowerment Remembrance Day” event at two convenient times, 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 9, 2010, featuring author and motivational speaker Michelle Rosado. The event is free and open to the public. 

Rosado is the co-author of Pursuing Your Destiny, a book based on her escape from the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. As a successful business owner, professional speaker, and coach, Rosado has inspired people around the world with her message of hope and perseverance.

She has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from New York's Madison's Who's Who, and is recognized throughout the business world as a woman of empowerment. 

As a public speaker, Rosado presents passionately on a wide range of topics. She has presented to women's groups, multi-level marketing companies, juvenile detention facilities, and has hosted all-day motivational training seminars.

She is the co-founder of Rosado Companies, LLC, an organization dedicated to providing an array of top-notch services in the areas of technology, finance, and overall personal growth.
