MDC InterAmerican Campus to Present Collaborative Student Art Exhibition

Miami, August 27, 2010 - Students in jewelry, painting and drawing courses at Miami Dade College’s (MDC) InterAmerican Campus (IAC) will showcase their artwork at the Collaborative Student Art Exhibition. The exhibition, presented at the campus’ Art Institute, opens at 7 p.m. Thursday, September 9, and runs through the 23 of the month.

The IAC Art Institute offers a venue where the artistic abilities inherent in the community can be discovered and stimulated through lectures, classes, exhibitions and workshops. 

“We are proud of the work that our students are doing in the IAC Art Institute and we are happy to provide this exhibition for the enjoyment of the community,” said Dr. Alberto Herrera, chairperson for the School of Community Education at IAC. 

The IAC Art Institute is open Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
