MDC’s Miami Culinary Institute and LivingSocial Present Elizabeth Falkner Pop-Up Experience Aug. 23 – 25

Miami, August 13, 2012 - The Miami Culinary Institute (MCI) at Miami Dade College (MDC) and LivingSocial have teamed up to offer a three-night pop-up restaurant experience with the Food Network’s Next Iron Chef, Super Chefs finalist, Elizabeth Falkner, from August 23 – 25.

Food enthusiasts will have the opportunity to enjoy a special three-course prix-fixe menu paired with wine and preceded by a one-hour “Cocktail & Aperitivi Hour.” Additionally, a limited number of guests each night will be able to participate in a VIP experience (at an additional cost), which will include a cooking demonstration by Chef Falkner in the Institute’s food and beverage theater and a signed copy of Elizabeth’s brand new cookbook, Cooking Off the Clock.

MCI students will assist Chef Falkner with every aspect of the pop-up experience and MCI Theatre demonstrations.
