Teresa Sapey 1

Miami, December 5, 2012 -

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Architecture and Interior Design will present a lecture by Madrid-based architect Dr. Teresa Sapey. The lecture, titled We Design Spaces with Feelings, will take place at 9 a.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at the college’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami. This event is free and open to the public.

Originally from Cuneo, Italy, Dr. Sapey moved to Madrid in 1990 and founded the Teresa Sapey Architecture Studio. Together with her talented team, they work on various types of projects – such as ephemeral displays, graphics and editorials – that stem from emotions and feelings and produce results that convey those sentiments. Most recently, Dr. Sapey designed Christmas Lights, a dazzling display of glittering circles using LED lights along Calle Serrano, a popular street with shops in Madrid.
