Miami Dade College to Host Global Entrepreneurship Summit with Nicolas Felizola Dec. 6

Miami Dade College’s (MDC) School of Business will host a Global Entrepreneurship Summit at 5 p.m., Thursday, Dec. 6, at the college’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami. This special event, featuring acclaimed fashion designer Nicolas Felizola, is presented by Emprendt Latino as part of its Emprendt Live series. Free and open to the public.  


A fashion designer, photographer, attorney, and entrepreneur, Felizola has immortalized jet setters and celebrities internationally. His devotion and passion for the haute couture style has earned him multiple prestigious awards, such as Best Designer of Miami Fashion Week; twice honored by Tiffany & Co. for his Privé and Uomo collections; the Zanetti Murano Award in Italy; the Universal Excellence Award in Mexico; he was featured in Forbes magazine’s “America’s Young Fashion Designers,” and recognized among ten Hispanic Designers that are influential in the United States, on par with Carolina Herrera and Oscar De La Renta.


The second part of the summit will consist of a panel moderated by Heradio Luces, president of EmprenDT Latino. The panel will include two participants of the Small Business Education Program – Yunis Segura, founder and CEO of Yunique International Travel Services, and Winifred D. Browne, CEO of ECO Solution Group, LLC.
