MDC’s Kendall Campus to Hold Fun-Filled Spring Fling Carnival, Egg Hunt Eggstravanza!, March 2
2013 Spring Fling Carnival Sponsored by Miami Dade College Kendall Campus
Miami, February 25, 2013 - Spring is in the air, and Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Kendall Campus is celebrating with its annual Spring Fling Carnival. Festivities will be held from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Saturday, March 2, at the campus’ track field. The community is invited to enjoy the full day of festivities, with appearances by the Miami Heat Dancers and T.D., the Miami Dolphins’ mascot.
Kids and their families can expect to enjoy a fun-filled carnival bursting with activities, featuring animal exhibits from Jungle Island, food vendors, clowns, games, bounce houses, rides, slides, face painting, music, children’s dance performances, as well as free popcorn and cotton candy. The day will also feature Kendall’s Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza!
Children ages 11 and younger are invited to participate in the Egg Hunt Eggstravaganza. The Egg Hunt features a morning and afternoon hunt for various age groups. Hunts will take place at the soccer field.
- Morning Hunt (Ages 5 and younger), 10:30 a.m.
- Mid-Morning Hunt (Ages 6-11), 11:15 a.m.
Admission is $1 per person; proceeds benefit the MDCKendall Students United Way campaign.
