Miami, April 8, 2013 -

This spring, Miami Dade College (MDC) Galleries of Art + Design (MOAD) is showcasing artwork by talented students as part of its 2013 Emerging Artists college-wide exhibitions, which run through May 22. All exhibitions and receptions are free and open to the public.  


Five MDC campuses will host the exhibitions encompassing a wide variety of media, including paintings, drawings, sculptures, installations, video, and jewelry.


2013 Emerging Artists exhibitions:


Centre Gallery at Wolfson Campus

300 N.E. Second Ave. (Building 1, third floor)  

Opening reception on Tuesday, April 9, at noon

Homestead Art Space at Homestead Campus

500 College Terrace

Opening reception on Thursday, April 18, at 6 p.m.

InterAmerican Gallery at InterAmerican Campus
