Miami Dade College Medical Campus’ Massage Therapy Vocational Credit Program in Spanish to Launch Jan. 21

Miami, August 21, 2013 - Miami Dade College’s(MDC) Medical Campus will now offer its acclaimed Massage Therapy Vocational Credit Program in Spanish, starting January 21. The new Spanish Curriculum Option is a full-time, two-semester course of study requiring 25 vocational credits (750 hours) with classes available in the evenings and on weekends.

The curriculum will be the same as the English language program, except that content and course syllabi, textbooks, library learning resources, tutorial, advisement, and other support services will be available in Spanish. In addition, the National Massage and Bodywork Licensure Exam (MBLEX) is offered to graduates in both English and Spanish.  

MDC’s Massage Therapy program is a Career Technical Certificate program that provides students with learning in the necessary technical competencies to function effectively as supportive health care providers in the field of massage therapy.
