U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius to Hold Affordable Care Act Forum at Miami Dade College Wolfson, Sept. 17

In an effort to inform the local community on the new Affordable Care Act (ACA), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius will hold a special information session at Miami Dade College (MDC)’s Wolfson Campus in downtown Miami on Tuesday, Sept. 17 from 10-11 a.m. Sebelius will discuss pertinent aspects of the ACA and what the new law means for the community, including coverage for the uninsured. 

The event is by invitation only, but is open to the working media. Those who plan to attend will need to RSVP by Friday, Sept. 13. The session will take place in the Campus’ Chapmen Center, located on the second floor of Building 3, 245 NE 4th St.

Free parking is available in the Campus’ parking garage in Building 7, 500 NE Second Ave. Large bags, banners, or signs of any kind will not be allowed inside of the event.
