Miami Dade College’s Homestead Campus to Host Federal Government Jobs Workshops June 25

Miami, June 17, 2014 - Miami Dade College’s (MDC) Homestead Campus will host two federal government jobs workshops on Wednesday, June 25, that will teach participants what the federal government is looking for in potential employees and how to apply for jobs. The event is free and open to the public.

Representatives from the U.S. Office of Personnel Management from Washington, D.C., will conduct the workshops. The first one, “How to Find and Apply for Federal Jobs” (Navigating the USAJOBS website), will take place from 11 a.m. to noon.  The second workshop, “Federal Resume Writing and Interview Techniques,” will run from 12:15 to 1:30 p.m.
