Miami Dade College to Host Webinars on Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses

10K Cohort Grads

Miami, June 20, 2014 - Small business owners interested in participating in Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses at Miami Dade College (MDC) will have the opportunity to learn more at free webinars taking place in June and early July. The college received a five-year grant from Goldman Sachs to run and support this highly regarded program in Miami.  There is no cost to participants. The deadline to apply for Cohort 3 is July 9.

In addition, the college will host information sessions at various campuses. The schedule is as follows: 

Wednesday, June 25, 8 a.m.: Wolfson Campus, 300 NE Second Ave., Room 3208-3209

Friday, June 27, 8 a.m.:  Kendall Campus, 11011 SW 104 St., Room R-402

Tuesday, July 1, 8 a.m.: North Campus, 11380 NW 27 Ave.

Wednesday, July 2, 7 p.m.: Homestead Campus, 500 College Terrace,  Room F222

The webinar and information sessions will provide participants an opportunity to learn more about the program and have questions answered live. 10,000 Small Businesses participants receive practical business education and education about access to capital, and gain access to a powerful network of advisers & peers. 

Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses offers selected growing small businesses a free 13-week curriculum of classes and workshops, mentorship and other valuable tools for developing a "comprehensive growth plan" for each business owner. The program, launched last year, is a multi-city program aimed at helping small business owners in target locations create jobs and strengthen the local economy.
