MDC Board of Trustees Approves Salary Increase for 2005-06

MDC has distinguished itself as a leader in higher education because of the dedication and talent of it personnel. Rewarding that effort is a top priority for the institution.

I am very pleased to announce that the Board of Trustees has approved the following salary enhancements:

  • 4 percent salary increase for all full-time and part-time administrative and classified employees.
  • 6 percent increase for all full-time personnel in Levels 1 through 6 who are at or below the midpoint of their range. This increase reflects a special effort to improve compensation for full-time non-instructional employees at entry-level positions, as a means of addressing economic changes that have a greater impact on those colleagues.
  • Minimum/midpoint/maximum ranges will be increased by 4 percent for part-time and 5 percent for full-time employees.

In addition to the above, particular adjustments have been identified for those at the minimum and maximum of a given range. Please confer with your supervisor or Human Resources.

Just as we seek to provide our students with a quality education, we also strive for quality rewards for those who give so much to the educational process. This latest salary enhancement reflects the recognition of your effort and continued commitment to quality compensation.

Thank you.
