Dr. Gregory Gray Appointed Kendall Campus President

I am very pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Gregory Gray as Kendall Campus President. Dr. Gray brings a wealth of experience in higher education spanning more than 20 years of academic and administrative leadership.

Dr. Gray will arrive at MDC from his current position as Chancellor of the Fayette Campus of Penn State University, where he has served for the past eight years. His experience is wide-ranging, including areas of concentration that are easily recognizable as priorities for MDC's continued success. He has developed new academic programs in both lower and upper divisions; initiated a distance learning program; incorporated service learning throughout the curricula; increased enrollment and retention; established off-site centers and overseen construction of new facilities; developed new partnerships with business, industry and government; and secured significant capital campaign donations.

Prior to his position at Penn State, Dr. Gray served as Dean of the School of Business, Hospitality and Nursing at the SUNY College of Agriculture and Technology in Morrisville, NY;  Chief Academic Officer at the University of Cincinnati's Clermont College; and Vice President for Academic Affairs at Olive-Harvey College of the City Colleges of Chicago.

Dr. Gray will begin his tenure at the Kendall Campus on September 5th. Please join me in welcoming him to Miami Dade College.
