Reflections on Commencement 2007

April 28th was a busy day for Miami Dade College and the 8,000 graduates whose successes were honored with college diplomas at seven locations throughout the community.

While each year's commencement is the most important time on the College's calendar, the ceremonies that took place on Saturday were especially memorable.
 
From the JROTC flag presentations to President Bush's commencement address, the celebration for MDC's Class of 2007 will go down in College history.

I would like to personally thank the faculty, staff, students and volunteers who put so much effort into making graduation 2007 a true testament to the power of teamwork.
