Hall of Fame Awards Gala Raises More Than $1 Million for MDC Foundation
As I announced earlier this morning, yesterday evening's Alumni Hall of Fame Awards gala was a true success. In addition to recognizing the amazing career accomplishments of some of our most distinguished alumni, I am pleased to report that the event raised a record-breaking $1.1 million. These funds will be used by the MDC Foundation to provide student scholarships and support.
I would like to thank the 1,000-plus Hall of Fame attendees and all of our sponsors, in particular, AT&T, Greenberg Traurig LLP, Laquer Corporate Realty Group, Perry Ellis International, the Dascal Family, The Miami Herald Media Co. and T&G Constructors, for their generous contributions.
