Hall of Fame Success Story

Miami Dade College honored some of our most distinguished alumni at last night's Fifth Annual Alumni Hall of Fame Awards gala.

More than 1,000 guests joined the celebration at the Radisson Hotel in downtown Miami, among them 27 of MDC's most accomplished alumni. Honorees included Mayor of Miami-Dade County Carlos Alvarez, North Miami Police Chief Gwendolyn Boyd, Coral Gables Fire Rescue Chief Richard Cook, Great Florida Bank president Mehdi Ghomeshi,  and architect Ana Alleguez.

Thank you to all of the 2007 Hall of Fame luminaries for their commitment to the community and to The Hall of Fame Planning Committee, the staff of the President's office and other volunteers who made this year's ceremony so memorable.
