Exhibit Chronicling MDC’s Architectural History Opens at North Campus
Tonight marks the opening of a special architectural exhibit at Miami Dade College. "A Concrete Presence: The Architecture of Miami Dade College, 1960-1970," commemorates a decade of MDC's original architecture and recognizes the innovation and unique architectural character of the College’s first buildings. As the site of our first campus, North Campus serves as the perfect venue for this art show.
Beginning this evening with the opening reception at 7:00 p.m., in room 5120 of Gallery North (11380 N.W. 27 Avenue), the exhibit consists of original photographs, architectural renderings, plans and architectural models, as well as work produced by our School of Architecture students. "A Concrete Presence" runs through Sunday, March 3.
