Thank You for Your Generosity

I am very happy to report that the people of Haiti will experience a little relief from their hunger thanks to our efforts. The recent MDC food drive for Haiti accumulated 131 boxes of food that are being shipped to Haiti by Food for the Poor, a relief agency that feeds 20,000 Haitians each day. A representative delivered this message:

"Students at Miami Dade College, through their generosity and desire to learn, have brought awareness of the on-going crisis to the South Florida community. Food for the Poor commends the efforts of the students and faculty."

Thank you for your generosity. If you would like to offer additional support, a tax-deductible $12 donation will feed a Haitian family for one month.
